Helicopter Charges from Baltal Route: The one way helicopter charges for yatris who wish to perform yatra from Baltal route are slashed by 40 % this year and now the revised rates for Baltal to Panjtarni routes will be Rs 1445/ per passenger.In 2011, the rates were Rs 2425/- per passenger
Helicopter Charges from Pahalgam Route: Similarly, the one way helicopter charges from Pahalgam route are also reduced by 35 % and now the yatris will have to pay Rs 2355/- instead of Rs 3495/- as of last year

The CEO SASB Mr Navin Choudhary also announced that the Contract for Operating the Helicopter Services on the Baltal -Panjtarni Route is awarded to M/s Global Vectra Helicorp Ltd and M/s Summit Aviation Pvt Ltd and Helicopter Services for Pahalgam - Panjtarni Route will be operated by Pawan Hans Private Limited
