Amarnath Yatra 2012 dates have been announced and we feel happy to announce that registration for the yatra will start from 7th May, 2012.If you are planning for the yatra, then you must go through our previous posts on the Amarnath Yatra Regiatrtion at the Links given below



We have another good news for the yatris, and the news is that Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board had slashed the rates for Helicopter Tickets by 40 %, Now you can fly to the holy cave for only Rs 1445.In this article, we will discuss the detailed procedure for Booking Helicopter tickets for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2012.Here are a few points that Interested Yatris might undergo for Amarnath Yatra Helicopter Booking


Helicopter Tickets for Amarnath Yatra 2013


  • Helicopter Operators: Helicopter Booking is being done at Baltal route by Summit Aviation Pvt Ltd, where as for the Pahalgam route the booking is done by Pawan Hans Pvt. Ltd
  • Helicopter Charges: The Booking charges from Baltal routes is Rs 1440, where as the booking charges from Pahalgam route is Rs 2355/- .You can also read in detail about Helicopter fares at the link given below
                         Now Fly to Amarnath for only Rs 1445
  •  Helicopter Booking: There are two ways for booking Helicopter for Amarnath Yatra 2012. 
  1. Advance Booking System 
  2. Current Booking System
  • Current Booking System: According to the directions of Shrine Board, 50 % of the tickets will be booked under the Current Booking System.
  • Advance Booking Under the Advance Booking System, 50 % of the Helicopter tickets will be booked online  from the Helicopter Operators Website the remaining 50 % tickets under Advacnce booking will be done by will be done by the 6 Agents from Jammu and Kashmir.(3 from Jammu, 3 from Kashmir) For Booking Helicopter Tickets Online, yatris can log on to
  1. For Baltal Route: Summit Aviation Pvt Ltd   
  2. For Pahalgam Route : Pawan Hans Helicopter Ltd. 
  • Booking through Travel Agents: The Shrine Board had authorized 6 Travel agents to provide Helicopter Tickets for Shri Amarnath Yatra 2012 under Advance Booking System.Among them, three are from Jammu Division and three from Kashmir Division.Here is list of Travel Agents who can book Helicopter Tickets for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra
